Irish artists Kennedy Browne grapple with ‘Real World Harm’ at Krannert Art Museum

Irish artists Kennedy Browne’s first solo U.S. exhibition, “The Special Relationship,” is on view at Krannert Art Museum. The artists’ work raises questions about global commerce, technology and privacy. In “Real World Harm,” a viewer watches a 360-degree video on an Oculus headset, a virtual reality platform owned by Facebook. The artists inscribed the headset with a disclaimer telling users that their biometric data is being collected.
